Lowell began her acting career when she played the lead role in Dangerously Close. She then played a small role in the show's Club Paradise's Assistant District Attorney Jamie Ross. [4] She went on to play roles, including co-starring as Bond girl Pam Bouvier in the James Bond movie Licence to Kill (1989) as well, beginning in 1996 as the assistant district attorney Jamie Ross for two seasons on the TV drama Law & Order, a role she reprised in 2005 to play a guest character on its spinoff, Law & Order: Trial by Jury, and later on in the original series in 2022, when it was relaunched for the 21st season. [6] Immediately before getting that role, however, she had become frustrated in her acting career and she had decided to study documentary filmmaking at New York University. [4] She took a hiatus from acting in the mid-2000s. Lowell provided Lowell her voice and likeness in 2012 as she reprised her Licence to Kill part in the video game 007 Legends. She was married to him from 1984 until 1988. [9][10] She was married to actor Griffin Dunne from 1989 to 1995 and has a daughter, Hannah, from the marriage.
